You need only one game per flight.

Depending on which set you have there is a different number of positive or negative Chips available for the players. 

At the beginning of your round of golf the game owner has all chips in his pouch. During your round of golf the chips are given away regarding your strokes (hit the bunker, hit into water, hit the green, birdie, single putt, ...). For each stroke the player gets the correponding chip and keeps it until a flight partner makes the same hit.

A different variation is, that every flight partner pulls an equal amount of chips at the beginning of the round.

Of course you decided before thr round what each chip means at the end........
